I love Google Maps. It's one of the best things they've come out with. So now, I can actually show everyone where I actually do my outdoor sessions. I may actually post a few overview shots as well, if I can remember next time I do a shoot or so on. I've included the zoom/pan controls on the map, so feel free to scroll around and have a look at the place I call home (three of the locations are almost within spitting distance of each other, and are about 15 minutes from where I live).

This location is not as secluded as I might like, but is much easier to get to than Second Marsh. This is one of 3 locations I found in this creek that appear more than suitable for filming.

Much closer to the pedestrian path this one is, in fact directly under the bridge. When I actually went down under the bridge, I found the spot obscured quite well by the tall grass and so on. Someone would have to actually look over the rail to see me. The current has eroded a pool beside the south abutment, which comes up to the waist, making it a very plausible location for filming.

If only this location were a little more secluded...
I discovered this location while investigating the location above, and hence, why they're so close together. Two young guys drove their bikes off the pedestrian path over to the location, messed around for a bit, then took off. So I decided to check out what was there.
What did I find? A bike jump! Which of course, means DEEP WATER!! Yes, a very deep pool is at this location, possibly over the head. I didn't fully check it out, since I only had shorts on when I went in. It's also in full view of the pedestrian path and bridge, so privacy is definitely an issue here.

If only it were easier to get to this location. I found this location in mid-June, and it proved to be a great spot for filming. The trek to the site takes easily an hour, since I can't just drive the bike right to the spot. However, the reward is the privacy.

I miss this location. However, it's just not practical for me to get there anymore, considering the cost. Not to mention, transit probably wouldn't appreciate me gettting the seats wet on the return home.
As far as the location itself is for a shoot, conditions vary. The place is constantly shifting and changing, coupled with a very fast current just to make things interesting. All the same, it is a location I do miss.
