This is a lunch we had on Sunday, somewhere on the Royal Mile.
Note the weird latte -- they put the milk in first, then layer the espresso between the milk and foam. Looks cool, but for some reason all the espresso in this country tastes nutty.

The sandwiches are 'scottish cheddar' -- cheese not carrot. The thing on the left, however, is "Cream of Carrot" soup.
The messy guy across from me is dasymond. And, yes, the table is on an angle.
